Tosombra “Tai” Kimes is a military brat, disabled veteran, (ex)military spouse, and caregiver. She is the author of “Princess Lizzie Wears Hearing Aids” and “Princess Lizzie Learns Manners”.

Tai dedicates her life to helping others, whether it's veterans, service members, their spouses/partners, military children or the community in which they live. She is the chapter director for a national nonprofit and a board member for others. As a programs manager, she creates programs and events that are both memorable and meaningful. And as an etiquette coach, she provides etiquette training for youth and adults who struggle to find their footing in social situations.

And when she isn't doing these things? Tai enjoys spending time with her teenage daughter, loving on her adult son (wherever in life he may be), and finding ways to empower other women.
